General Policy
At OYUKIO, a project operated by Tjep., all rings are custom-made to order, and we do not hold stock due to the extensive combinations of perfect ring sizes, materials, and possible customizations. As a result, our return and refund policy is tailored to reflect the bespoke nature of our products. Please review the details below carefully.
Custom-Made Products
Due to their personalized nature, all custom-made rings, including those designed via the Ring Customization Tool, are non-returnable and non-refundable except in cases of manufacturing defects or errors attributable to Tjep., operating as OYUKIO (e.g., incorrect materials or specifications not matching your order).
Defects or Errors: If you receive a defective item or the wrong custom ring, please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately at info@oyukio.com within 7 days of delivery. We will evaluate the issue and, at our discretion, repair, replace, or refund the defective item. If approved, we’ll provide a return shipping label and instructions for sending the item back to [insert return address, e.g., Moerkenweg 5, 1019 XZ Amsterdam, Netherlands]. Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.
Condition: To qualify, the item must be in the same condition as received, unworn, and in its original packaging, accompanied by proof of purchase.
Stock Models (If Applicable)
In the rare event that Tjep., operating as OYUKIO, offers a pre-made, in-stock ring (explicitly designated as such on the product listing), we provide a 30-day return policy:
Eligibility: You have 30 days after receiving your in-stock item to request a return. The item must be unused, unworn, with tags, in its original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
Process: Contact us at info@oyukio.com to start a return. If accepted, we’ll provide a return shipping label and instructions for sending it back to [insert return address]. Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.
Exceptions: Sale items and gift cards (if offered) are non-returnable. Shipping costs for returns are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
Damages and Issues
For all orders (custom-made or in-stock), please inspect your item upon receipt. If it’s defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately at info@oyukio.com so we can assess and resolve the issue. For custom-made rings, this must be within 7 days of delivery; for in-stock items, within 30 days.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Custom Products: As noted, custom-made rings cannot be returned or exchanged unless defective or erroneous, as they are made specifically for you and cannot be resold due to our no-stock policy.
Other Exclusions: We do not accept returns for perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers), personal care items, hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases (though these are unlikely to apply to OYUKIO’s jewelry offerings). Sale items and gift cards (if applicable) are also non-returnable.
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges due to the custom nature of most OYUKIO products. For in-stock items, if a return is accepted, you may place a separate order for a new item once the refund is processed.
European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
Notwithstanding the above, if your order is shipped to the European Union, EU law grants a 14-day cooling-off period to cancel certain purchases. However, this right does not apply to custom-made products tailored to your specifications (per EU Consumer Rights Directive, Article 16(c)). As OYUKIO rings are bespoke and made to order unless explicitly listed as in-stock, they are exempt from this cooling-off period. For in-stock items (if offered), you may cancel within 14 days of receipt for any reason, provided the item is unused, unworn, with tags, in its original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase. Refunds
Custom-Made Products: If a return for a defect or error is approved, we’ll notify you after receiving and inspecting the item. Refunds, if granted, will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Stock Models: For approved returns of in-stock items, refunds will be processed within 10 business days of receipt and inspection.
Processing Time: Note that banks or credit card companies may take additional time to post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since approval without receiving your refund, contact us at info@oyukio.com.
